High Octane Wedding with Curt Littlecot
My wonderful teacher Patrick VanDuesen gave me a paid 5 day workshop with Curt Littlecot at Florida School. It was a great opportunity for me to learn. We had models and were able to shoot for 5 days. We also were taught some new things on Nik software and CS3. He had us make our cameras naked with no additional flash and 50 mm lens. It was great and you can always learn something new.

Thomas Bruce Studio St Petersburg, FL
My class went on a field trip to learn about owning a studio. We visited Thomas Bruce Photography Studio and learned about running a business. It was fun and informative. I was very interested in his breast cancer photography and how they became involved with it. It touched my heart and made me think of my good friend I lost to breast cancer a few years ago. Her son and my older daughter are expecting their first child. I hope she can feel the love we all have for her even though she is no longer with us.

Now I lay me down to sleep {nilmdts)
I attended a training session in Stuart, Florida for Photographers to become involved in this wonderful giving program. It was heartbreaking and yet moving to the point I wanted to give them lasting memories they may wish to receive in the form of beautiful photographs so they can remember and heal. http://nowilaymedowntosleep.org/
There was a feature story on the Today show called "Healing the Heartbreak". You can watch the video by going to their site at todayshow.com and looking for the March 5th video "Photographers help parents heal". I hope more people and photographers become involved in this organization. I look forward to giving what I can.

Jewish Heritage Festival March 16
I was doing some freelance photography work at the Jewish Festival and ran into my school administrator Malka Altman. It was good seeing some of my ex co-workers and students again. The festival was nice and informative. I photographed most of the afternoon. The children seemed to enjoy the camel rides and getting their face painted the best. It was a nice afternoon by the river.

Strollerfit and Hormel Picnic

I was asked to photograph the strollerfit class that was sponsored by Hormel Natural Choice in the Nova Community Park in Ormond Beach on Saturday, March 15th. This is an exciting class and I wish they had it when I had my children. What a great way to exercise and meet other people that have kids your age group. I really enjoyed workinig with them and seeing the class work out together. Carolyn does a great job making the class fun to do with your baby. BONANSA WEDDING

It was a cool windy night for a wedding but how cute they looked together. I was so happy to be there to photograph their special day.. She looked so beautiful. What a joy to be part of their history together. Later this year we will be photographing her maternity pictures and then making a baby book for her. This is such an
exciting time for them.
